I loved Diving Bell too. I couldn't watch all of the eye-sewing part though. I thought the cinematography and color palette of the film was really great.

I'll let you know when I watch La Vie en Rose. Depressing movies are hard to start at 2 am, so I find myself relying on the feel-good, comforting atmosphere of Gilmore.

Yeah, amen to that Jamie. Her life makes you want to say "Johnny Cash, stop trying to make your life seem awful" or "Ray Charles, get over being blind." They need to stop trying because Edith Piaf's life takes the cake for most depressing biopic.

Well, I loved "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly" so much. Hopefully you will see it tonight.

Erin and I JUST FINISHED "La Vie en Rose" seriously 2 seconds ago. Man, Edith Piaf has a depressing life.
