Like, yes we are "right wingers" but are still going to promote a black president, a woman president, we are going to go green and have a public and very loud known liberal activist as a castmember. it's refreshing. right now nobody will break out of their "camp" -- like conservatives want to showcase their major causes (the need for defense, the war, the take-down of gay marriage and abortion) and make sure that nobody gets confused (and liberals do the same). Even though i've only watched 4 episodes and didn't particularly love the idea of renegade jack bauer anit-establishment-within-the-establishment white man killing people in the name of his personal notion of justice and morality, i do like seeing this show and the direction its going -- without explanation. hopefully this isn't too long/boring/annoying for a blog comment. ok i am actually pretty proud of this show for being an example of bipartisanship and something that has seemed to successfully avoided the left vs. right fight that dominates everything.
